The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the time table for the state Common Entrance Test (CET) 2018.

KCET is the combined entrance exam held to get admissions for undergraduate engineering as well as medical courses & management courses also which are made available to different colleges in the state of Karnataka. Similarly, this year also it invites online applications from the eligible as well as interested candidates those who are pursuing their II PUC. Most of the candidates who are interested in this entrance exam should apply on or before the last date. Those who will submit the Application form before the last date are only eligible for the written test.

Duration and Subjects of Examination:
The Karnataka KCET 2018 will be held on two days in four sessions for four subjects. The examination for Biology and Mathematics will be conducted on the first day in two sessions. Then Physics and Chemistry Exams will be conducted on the
Second day in the two sessions.Each exam or subject will be of 80 minutes and carry 60 marks.
Types of Questions: Each paper will consist of Multiple Chice Questions. Each question paper will be in 16 versions and each question will have four answer options.
Marking Scheme: Each question will carry one mark and there will be no negative marks for wrong answers.
OMR Sheet: A model of Optical Mark Readed (OMR) sheets will be given to the candidates for marking answers. A specimen of OMR sheet will be hosted by the KEA website www.kea.kar.nic.in.

Candidates can download the Karnataka CET 2018 Admit Card in the 3rd week of April 2018. Candidates need to download the admit card as per the scheduled dates by login using details generated at the time of application.
Karnataka CET 2018 provisional Answer Keys will be uploaded after Exams by the KEA Karnataka Examination Authority in their official website kea.kar.nic.in and kea.kar.nic.in/cet_2018.htm if any body have objections in the answer key then they can send complaints through speed post or email. KEA consider all the objection and then it will releases Final Answer Key with the changes.
The Karnataka CET 2018 examination will be held on April 18, 19 and 20 next year. Candidates who clear the paper will be eligible for admission to firt year or first semester courses in engineering, technology, farm science, pharmacy, AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani and Homeopathy), architecture, medicine and detistry for the academic year beginning in 2018.

The question papers of karnataka 2018 CET - Common Entrance Test will be mostly based on the First and Second PUC syllabus prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State.
CET 2018 will be held in two shifts: 10:30 am to 11:50 pm and 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm.
Last year, the Karnataka CET 2017 was held from May 2 to May 3 at 54 centres across the state.
Furthermore, more than 6 lakh candidates appeared in the examination that began with the First Language paper at all centres across the state. Also, to curb malpractice and cheating in the examination, the council had installed CCTV cameras in and around 1,106 examination centres.

Each of the subjects will carry 60 marks and the language test will carry 50 marks
2. For admission to Medical and Dental courses, candidates have to appear for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) - 2018 conducted by CBSE
3. For admission to Architecture courses, candidates have to appear for JEE Paper -2 or NIATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the Council of Architecture
1. Check your admit cards before leaving for exams.
2. Reach the campus at least 30 minutes before the exam and be seated in the exam hall 15 minutes before the time.
3. Use Ball Point pens only (black / blue) for answering and alway carry 1 or 2 backup pens.
4. Read and understand all the Details given in the Brocher carefully.
5. Keep your application form, proof of payment safely.

B.E/ B. Tech: Candidates should complete 2nd PUC/12th Std or an Equivalent Examination with minimum 45% Marks in Physics and Mathematics with Chemistry/ Biology.
MBBS or BDS: Candidates should pass in 2nd PUC/12th Std or an Equivalent test with the minimum of 50% marks in the Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects.
BAMS, BUMS, BNYS & BHMS: Candidates should complete 2nd PUC/12th Std or an Equivalent test with minimum 50% marks in the Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects.
B. Arch: Candidates should clear Inter/12th Std or an Equivalent test with minimum 50% marks in all the subjects and needs to study Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
B. V. Sc. & A.H: Candidates should complete 12th Std/2nd PUC or an Equivalent qualification with minimum 50% Marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects.
B.Pharm: Candidates should pass 12th Std/Inter or equivalent with English and should get minimum 45% Marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects or PCM subjects.
For 2nd Year B. Pharma (Lateral Entry): Candidates should complete Diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 45% Marks from an educational institution approved by the Pharmacy Examination Council of India.
D Pharma Qualification: Candidates should clear 2nd PUC/12th Std or equivalent with minimum 45% Marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects or PCM subjects. Also, you need to qualify for Diploma in Pharmacy test from an educational institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India.
For B.Sc. (Agriculture/ Sericulture/ Forestry/ Horticulture/ Agri. Biotech), B. H. Sc.(Home Science), B. Tech.(Food Science & Tech.), b. Tech.(Food Technology), and B. Tech in Agriculture or B.Sc.(Ag Marketing and Co-operation): Candidates should complete 12th Std/2nd PUC or an Equivalent qualification in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
